Deploying all other Boundless Server web apps

GeoWebCache

  1. If needed, install Java and Tomcat (see Installation for more details).

  2. Create two directories to store the GWC configuration and tiles:

    mkdir -p /var/opt/boundless/server/geowebcache/config
    mkdir -p /var/opt/boundless/server/geowebcache/tilecache

  3. Copy the geowebcache.war file to your webapps directory ($CATALINA_HOME/webapps).

  4. Create a geowebcache.xml file in your $CATALINA_HOME/conf/Catalina/localhost directory:

     <Context docBase="geowebcache.war">
                    <!-- The default location of the GWC tile cache -->
                    <Parameter name="GEOWEBCACHE_CACHE_DIR"
                            value="/var/opt/boundless/server/geowebcache/tilecache"
                            override="false"/>
                    <!-- Location of geowebcache configuration-->
                    <Parameter name="GEOWEBCACHE_CONFIG_DIR"
                            value="/var/opt/boundless/server/geowebcache/config
                            override="false"/>
    </Context>

  5. Restart Tomcat.

  6. Go to the GeoWebCache main page at http://localhost:8080/geoserver/gwc and verify the Local Storage (GEOWEBCACHE_CACHE_DIR) is correct.

Note

Composer assumes that GeoServer is running in the same web application server.

  1. If needed, install Java and Tomcat (see Installation for more details).
  2. Copy the composer.war file to your webapps directory ($CATALINA_HOME/webapps).
  3. Restart Tomcat.
  4. Navigate to http://localhost:8080/composer to verify that the application deployed successfully. You will be prompted for the main GeoServer Username/Password (which defaults to admin / geoserver).

  1. If needed, install Java and Tomcat (see Installation for more details).
  2. Copy the boundless-server-docs.war file to your webapps directory ($CATALINA_HOME/webapps).
  3. Restart Tomcat.
  4. Navigate to http://localhost:8080/boundless-server-docs to verify that the application deployed successfully.

WPS Builder

Note

Make sure you have enabled WPS in GeoServer and GeoServer is running in the same web application server.

  1. If needed, install Java and Tomcat (see Installation for more details).
  2. Copy the wpsbuilder.war file to your webapps directory ($CATALINA_HOME/webapps).
  3. Restart Tomcat.
  4. Navigate to http://localhost:8080/wpsbuilder to verify that the application deployed successfully.

  1. If needed, install Java and Tomcat (see Installation for more details)
  2. Copy the quickview.war file to your webapps directory ($CATALINA_HOME/webapps).
  3. Restart Tomcat
